Hot off the Press: Fearless as a Mouse

Researchers at Rutgers University recently published a paper in Cell about stathmin knockout mice that don’t respond normally to danger. Given that stathmin is an inhibitor of microtubule formation, I wonder if Penrose was on to something about consciousness... well, not too much.

This is a stunted post since PZ Meyers has already written a better post about these mice than I was even planning on writing in the first place.
