nanoNewton podcast

by PhilipJ on 15 February 2007

This is neat: in conjunction with course 3.052 at MIT (Nanomechanics of Materials and Biomaterials), a professor and some students have started podcasting discussions with scientists about, well, nanomechanics of materials and biomaterials!

They’ve discussed everything from the elasticity of fibronectin and sacrificial bonds in biological materials to the red blood cell mechanics and malaria. For the entire list, click here.

Huge hat tip to Professor Christine Ortiz and the students involved for a very cool series of discussions.
