Intelligent Design Creationism

Via Cosmic Variance, Pharyngula, and Three-Toed Sloth. Apparently president Bush made positive noises about teaching intelligent design in American schools. That is of course a bad thing. Instead of adding my perspective on this non-controversy over a non-theory, I’ll just give you a nice link. This is a site hosted by Berkeley designed for teachers who want information about evolution and the evidence for evolution. It also specifically addresses overcoming potential roadblocks (is that what we’re calling IDers these days?).
It is at least nice to know that Bush’s science advisor (a physicist no less!) doesn’t agree (via ScienceGate).
